The Sea Camel Self-Drive Speed Boat Tour offers a unique chance to take control of your own high-speed boat along Dubai’s famous coastline. Departing from either Sofitel Dubai The Palm or Dubai Harbour, this experience is designed for first-timers and thrill-seekers alike. After a safety briefing and quick instructions, you’ll set off behind a lead guide on your own compact, powerful Sea Camel boat that reaches speeds of up to 70 km/h.

This one-hour guided journey takes you past some of Dubai’s most iconic sights, including the Burj Al Arab, The Palm Jumeirah, the Royal Palaces, JBR, and Bluewaters Island. Whether you’re cruising solo, with a partner, or bringing the kids, it’s a fast-paced sightseeing tour unlike anything else in the city. Expect plenty of photo opportunities, dramatic skyline backdrops, and moments to simply stop and take it all in from the water.

Each Sea Camel is designed for stability and ease of control, so no license or prior boating experience is required. The boats are suitable for up to two adults or a small family group, with safety gear and bottled water included. With multiple time slots throughout the day, it's easy to fit this unforgettable activity into your Dubai itinerary. All tours are accompanied by an experienced guide who ensures safety, pacing, and assistance throughout.

To make the most of your ride, guests are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen, a towel, and a waterproof phone case or camera for photos. Life jackets are provided for all guests and must be worn at all times during the tour. The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with heart, back, or neck concerns. Guests must be physically able to operate the boat’s controls and follow instructions.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your tour begins. The final departure location will be confirmed by the reservations team after booking. Tours are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or refunded if sea conditions are unsafe. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the tour begins.
